RPO Recruitment’s client, a leading civil engineering consulting firm in Pretoria, is looking to appoint a skilled Civil Technologist to act as a Civil Designer/Modeller and make a meaningful contribution to their civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently model bulk earthworks, roads, and pipe networks in Civil 3D, including projects on challenging sites with steep slopes or space constraints
• Draught accurate civil engineering designs for a variety of infrastructure projects
• Assist team members with technical guidance and support as required
• Prepare and reproduce plans, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date
• Issue and file plans in accordance with company standards
• Perform any additional tasks delegated by a supervisor
• Work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Requirements:

• BTech in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in civil design and modelling
• Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a larger team
• Motivated, ambitious, and solution-focused with a positive attitude
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of proficiency in Civil 3D
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
