An exciting opportunity has become available for a talented and creative Graphic Designer/Art Director to join a leading fashion retail environment in Cape Town. This role is ideal for a design professional with a strong background in fashion-focused graphic design and art direction, who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. You will be responsible for developing visual concepts, overseeing photoshoots, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring fashion campaigns and branding to life. Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design creative assets for fashion campaigns, digital platforms, and print materials.
• Develop mood boards and visual concepts aligned with brand identity.
• Collaborate with stylists, agencies, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality creative outputs.
• Oversee and contribute to photoshoots in Cape Town and other locations, including props, styling, and execution.
• Translate brand direction into compelling visual communication that resonates with the target audience.
• Ensure all creative deliverables are completed accurately, on time, and to the highest standard.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design / Visual Communication.
• Minimum 2 years in Graphic Design, with 8 months – 2 years’ exposure to Art Direction.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating fashion detail and fashion retail design work (essential).
• Proven graphic design ability with a strong fashion handwriting.
• Art direction experience, including creating mood boards, developing concepts, brand interpretation, and working on live model photoshoots.
• Hands-on involvement in Cape Town-based photoshoots (locations, props, styling, and execution).
• Collaborative mindset, with experience working alongside stylists, agencies, and marketing teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver innovative, impactful creative solutions.
