A leading plastics manufacturing company based in Killarney Gardens is seeking a highly experienced Factory Manager to oversee and optimize daily production operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, results-driven individual with a strong background in manufacturing management, production planning, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production flow, maintain quality standards, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and uphold safety compliance throughout the facility. Responsibilities- Oversee and manage all factory operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and dispatch.
 - Plan, coordinate, and monitor production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery timelines.
 - Ensure adherence to quality standards and implement corrective actions where necessary.
 - Lead, motivate, and develop production teams to achieve performance goals.
 - Monitor and control operational costs, reducing waste and improving efficiency.
 - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
 - Identify and implement continuous improvement strategies to optimize productivity and workflow.
 - Collaborate closely with senior management to align production goals with company objectives.
 
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
 - Relevant tertiary qualification in Production Management, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering (advantageous).
 - Proven experience as a Factory Manager or Production Manager within a manufacturing environment (plastics industry experience preferred).
 - Strong leadership and people management skills.
 - Excellent understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
 - Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
 - Proficient in MS Office and production management software.
 - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
