A well-established FMCG manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Raw Materials Store Manager with strong warehouse leadership and stock control expertise to oversee on-site and off-site raw materials operations, ensure accurate inventory management, and support uninterrupted production through effective planning, compliance, and people management.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall management of raw materials stores (on-site and off-site), including secondary packaging and divider cleaning operations.

  • Maintain batch control and FIFO principles for HDPE, PP, regrind, and packaging materials.

  • Manage GRV processes, raw material shuttle trucks, and SAP stock transactions.

  • Conduct weekly, monthly, annual, and ad-hoc stock takes; investigate and manage stock variances.

  • Perform incoming inspection checks to ensure raw materials and packaging meet specifications.

  • Ensure timely and accurate distribution of raw materials to production departments.

  • Maintain adequate buffer stock levels and communicate stock balances to procurement weekly.

  • Manage waste operations including collection, separation, reconciliation, scrapping, and third-party sales.

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 documentation and standards.

  • Manage departmental budgets, forecasting, and projects to drive efficiency gains.

  • Lead and develop staff, manage performance, and ensure compliance with HR and IR policies.

  • Maintain a safe working environment with high housekeeping standards and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • BCom degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.

  • Proven warehouse and store management experience within an FMCG supply chain environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of SAP with troubleshooting capability.

  • Solid understanding of the plastics and packaging industry.

  • Computer literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-driven, disciplined, and results-oriented with strong relationship-building skills.
