A growing, quality-driven manufacturing company in the food production space is looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented General Manager to join their team in Ottery, Cape Town. The role is ideal for someone with a strong background in fast-paced production environments, especially food or pharmaceutical sectors, and excellent Excel and planning skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee production, stock-on-hand tracking, and packaging controls

• Track shipments and production progress using Excel and ERP (Excite)

• Coordinate internal operations and assist in daily production scheduling

• Analyse trends to improve planning and productivity

• Maintain compliance across production planning functions

• Assist with Woolworths planning requirements where applicable

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing

• Excellent Excel skills and experience using ERP systems (Excite/Pastel advantageous)

• Familiarity with short and long shelf-life product planning

• Hands-on, proactive, and highly detail-oriented
