A reputable automotive company is looking for an experienced Skilled Mechanic with a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality technical services, ensure operational excellence, and maintain exceptional customer satisfaction within a fast-paced motor industry environment.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.

• Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brake adjustments, and tyre rotations.

• Perform inspections and testing to ensure vehicle roadworthiness and safety.

• Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and recommend appropriate repairs.

• Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed.

• Adhere to health and safety regulations and standards.

• Provide clear and professional customer service, explaining repairs and recommendations.

• Follow a “Fix it right first time” work culture and best practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a motor technician or similar role within the automotive industry.

• Strong technical proficiency in diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of various vehicle models.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Commitment to ethical standards, transparency, and professionalism.

• Computer literacy, including the ability to use diagnostic software.

• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.

• Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain detailed repair records.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with service advisors and other team members.
