Responsibilities
  • Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities within the residential, commercial, and industrial solar markets.
  • Conduct energy assessments and analyse consumption patterns to recommend appropriate solar system solutions.
  • Deliver persuasive and professional sales presentations, effectively addressing customer needs and objections.
  • Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and system sizing recommendations.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service from initial contact through project completion.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM and reporting tools.
  • Stay up to date with solar technology trends, industry developments, and local market incentives.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless handover and successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in sales within the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Strong understanding of solar energy systems, their benefits, and the underlying technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to deliver engaging, persuasive sales presentations.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing multiple leads.
  • Proficient in CRM tools and sales software for lead management and reporting.
  • Ability to analyse energy consumption and provide accurate system recommendations.
  • Knowledge of local regulations, incentives, and financing options related to solar energy is advantageous.
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
