A well-established manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Business Developer with a strong background in client acquisition, account management, and sales growth within the packaging industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and developing new business opportunities while managing and servicing existing customer accounts.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and secure new business opportunities
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts
• Conduct market research and develop sales strategies
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
• Prepare quotes, budgets, and forecasts
• Maintain effective communication with clients and internal teams
Requirements:
• Matric (Grade 12); tertiary qualification an advantage
• 5–10 years’ sales experience in manufacturing, preferably packaging
• Proven record of meeting sales targets
• Strong communication, negotiation, and planning skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickEasy
• Customer-focused with a professional approach
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
