RPO Recruitment is seeking a skilled Operations Coordinator to join our client’s dynamic team in Modderfontein, Gauteng. Responsibilities

Operational Management:

1.⁠ ⁠Coordinate daily operations, including procurement, logistics, and supply chain.
2.⁠ ⁠Monitor and report on operational performance metrics.
3.⁠ ⁠Implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
4. Work hand in hand with sales manager on individual product GP tracking.
5. Work with warehouse manager on inventory control.


Inventory Management:

1.⁠ ⁠Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies.
2.⁠ ⁠Conduct stock analysis, forecasting, and planning.
3.⁠ ⁠Monitor and adjust inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
4.⁠ ⁠Optimize stockholding costs and improve inventory turnover.

  1. Complete Bills of Materials and work with cost accounting functions.

Sage Evolution:

1.⁠ ⁠Manage and maintain Sage Evolution inventory management module.
2.⁠ ⁠Process stock transactions, invoices, and credits.
3.⁠ ⁠Generate inventory reports and analytics.

Excel Expertise:

1.⁠ ⁠Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets for inventory analysis.
2.⁠ ⁠Create dashboards, charts, and graphs for data visualization.
3.⁠ ⁠Automate reports using Excel macros and formulas.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in inventory management and operations. Experience in demand planning and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proven experience in an operations coordination or similar role.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational software systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
