RPO Recruitment's client is looking for a Software Developer to join their team in Centurion, Gauteng.
The successful candidate will initially take on the role of a Tester, supporting a system currently under development by an external supplier. Once the project is completed, the candidate will transition into a Developer role, responsible for ongoing development, upgrades, and system maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Start as a Tester to assist in verifying and validating the current system under development

• Transition into a Developer role post-project completion

• Maintain, improve, and enhance the in-house system

• Translate existing Excel-based tools and logic into the new digital system

• Ensure data is flowing correctly through templates, tables, UI, and calculations

• Work within Agile methodologies using tools like JIRA and MIRO

• Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to becoming a self-sufficient development environment

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in software development

• Minimum 2 years experience with OutSystems

• Strong experience with Excel, including VBA and translating spreadsheets into systems

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools

• Experience with Back-End or Full-Stack development is advantageous
