RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our client’s dynamic team in Ottery, Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive professional to provide critical administrative support to the sales team, ensuring efficient operations, seamless customer interactions, and timely reporting. Responsibilities:

  • Process sales orders, quotes, and customer invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Act as a point of contact between the sales team and clients for order updates and general support.
  • Maintain and update CRM and ERP systems with customer and order data.
  • Monitor stock levels and liaise with procurement and logistics to ensure product availability.
  • Generate and analyse sales reports to assist the sales team with forecasting and performance reviews.
  • Coordinate internal communication between sales, warehouse, and finance departments.
  • Ensure all documentation is compliant, up-to-date, and filed appropriately.
  • Support the preparation of presentations and proposals for clients when needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • A completed Bachelor’s degree (NQF level 7) in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • An Honours degree (NQF level 8) is advantageous but not essential.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar sales support/administrative role.
  • Strong understanding of costing principles and supply chain fundamentals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs – essential).
  • Experience using CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite).
  • Solid administrative skills with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
