Are you an analytical and results-driven professional with experience in sales or account management? A leading fashion and accessories e-commerce retailer is offering an exciting opportunity for an In-House Account Specialist to join a dynamic team based in Sandton, Gauteng. This role involves managing key accounts, interpreting sales data, and driving actionable insights that contribute to business growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain multiple retail accounts, ensuring strong relationships with store staff, merchandisers, and sales management.
• Analyze sales data and generate reports to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
• Coordinate and support in-store activities, promotions, and campaigns.
• Prepare and present reports, forecasts, and recommendations to management.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of account strategies.
• Identify areas for process improvement and proactively propose solutions.

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field OR a minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in a sales or account management role.
• Previous retail or FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) experience is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for store visits when required.
  
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, confident liaising across all levels.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, reporting) and other data tracking/reporting systems.
• Problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while functioning effectively within a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
