The Operations / Plant Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of employees and implementing strategies to meet production goals and drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, and inventory control
- Ensure that the plant operates efficiently and meets production targets
- Lead and motivate a team of production supervisors and staff to achieve high performance and productivity
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Continuously monitor and improve plant processes to optimize production efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as procurement and quality assurance, to ensure smooth operations
- Manage the plant budget, including expenses and capital investments
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive cost savings and operational excellence
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools
- Understanding of quality control processes and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
