A leading and innovative manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Manager with a strong background in strategic business development and stakeholder engagement to identify market opportunities, manage high-level government and corporate relationships, and drive global order intake.

Responsibilities:

  • Pre-empt market requirements through research and stakeholder engagement to position the company as a preferred partner.

  • Prepare and implement capture plans and winning pricing strategies while monitoring the competitive landscape.

  • Develop multi-layer business networks including Business-to-Government and Business-to-Business partners.

  • Liaise with internal teams to develop executable solutions and provide input for new business opportunities.

  • Manage the full customer lifecycle and maintain communication with high-ranking officials, including Ministers and Heads of Security Forces.

  • Ensure strict compliance with internal policies, government regulations, and international export laws.

Requirements:

  • NQF Level 7 qualification in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior sales, management, or technical role.

  • Experience in the Security, Technology, or Defense industry and government contracting is highly advantageous.

  • Sound knowledge of ammunition, weapon systems, and international trade practices.

  • Strong understanding of global political affairs and international export controls.

  • Exceptional negotiation, leadership, and professional presentation skills.

  • Ability to meet strict order intake targets in a high-pressure, multinational environment.

  • Willingness and ability to travel both locally and internationally.
