A leading and innovative manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Manager with a strong background in strategic business development and stakeholder engagement to identify market opportunities, manage high-level government and corporate relationships, and drive global order intake.
Responsibilities:
Pre-empt market requirements through research and stakeholder engagement to position the company as a preferred partner.
Prepare and implement capture plans and winning pricing strategies while monitoring the competitive landscape.
Develop multi-layer business networks including Business-to-Government and Business-to-Business partners.
Liaise with internal teams to develop executable solutions and provide input for new business opportunities.
Manage the full customer lifecycle and maintain communication with high-ranking officials, including Ministers and Heads of Security Forces.
Ensure strict compliance with internal policies, government regulations, and international export laws.
Requirements:
NQF Level 7 qualification in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior sales, management, or technical role.
Experience in the Security, Technology, or Defense industry and government contracting is highly advantageous.
Sound knowledge of ammunition, weapon systems, and international trade practices.
Strong understanding of global political affairs and international export controls.
Exceptional negotiation, leadership, and professional presentation skills.
Ability to meet strict order intake targets in a high-pressure, multinational environment.
Willingness and ability to travel both locally and internationally.
