RPO’s client is actively seeking a Factory Mart Coordinator to join their team in Cape Town. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive professional with strong stock management and customer service skills. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in procurement or demand planning and will be responsible for ensuring optimal stock levels and smooth coordination between various departments. This is a full-time, onsite position.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Factory Mart stock on a national level
  • Ensure supply meets demand while maintaining optimal inventory levels
  • Act as an intermediary between Factory Marts and internal departments (Branches, Procurement, Equipment, Casings, etc.)
  • Capture Factory Mart orders in Syspro
  • Provide feedback on out-of-stock lines and estimated arrival times
  • Follow up on backorders and prompt reordering
  • Assist in preparing customer quotes for submission by Supervisors
  • Provide accurate and complete information using appropriate tools
  • Conduct sales and inventory analysis

Requirements:

  • Matric or Grade 12 (equivalent) – a tertiary qualification in business, logistics, or similar is advantageous
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in buying, procurement, or demand planning
  • Strong skills in stock management and planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work well under pressure and solve problems independently
  • Strong time management and customer service orientation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email systems, and Syspro
  • Knowledge of products and Factory Mart operations
