Description
RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a talented and experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our client's team in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. Our client, a well-established company in the FMCG sector, is dedicated to continuous improvement and optimizing their manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Design and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices.
- Analyze data and utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify root causes and implement solutions for process inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide training and support to employees on continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to implement innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Engineering/Chemical)
- At least 5 year’s experience in process engineering in a food and dairy system design
- At least 5 year’s experience in project management within the food dairy industry
- Sound knowledge and experience of regulatory and legislative requirements for food and dairy industry
- Experience in handling large capital projects
- Computer literate in MS Package, AutoCAD
- Proven experience as a Continuous Improvement Engineer in the FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
- Experience in project management and change management is preferred.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma is a plus.

- Salary: R850k - R700k per annum
