Job Description

RPO Recruitment's client, a reputable multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm in the Western Cape is currently seeking a driven Graduate Fire Engineer to join their team in Cape Town as soon as possible.

 

The successful candidate will form part of the company’s collaborative mechanical engineering division where they will be offered excellent guidance, training and professional development opportunities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design of fire safety systems
  • Participate in fire modelling and simulations using internationally accredited software
  • Conduct fire risk assessments and contribute to safety strategies
  • Analyse building plans and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and codes
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to provide fire engineering solutions
  • Work on multiple projects including large retail shopping centres, commercial office buildings , high-rise apartments, hotels, housing developments and single residential luxury homes, industrial distribution centres and factories both nationally and internationally

 

Requirements:

  • BSc/BEng degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Interest in postgraduate studies in the field of Fire Engineering
  • Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
