A well-established industrial equipment provider is seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically proficient individual with a strong background in forklift maintenance and repairs to contribute to a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a variety of forklifts.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults and ensure timely resolution.
• Repair or replace defective components to reduce equipment downtime.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Source and manage parts and materials required for maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Provide on-site support and service at customer locations when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience maintaining and repairing forklifts.
• Qualified Diesel Mechanic or possession of a relevant trade certification.
• Proven fault-finding and diagnostic ability across hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel to customer sites as needed.
