RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a dynamic IR/HR Officer to join our client’s team in Bellville South, Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources professional with a strong background in Industrial Relations to support employee relations, HR administration, and compliance in a fast-paced industrial environment. If you are passionate about HR and possess a sound understanding of South African labour law, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance on employee relations and disciplinary matters
- Facilitate and support CCMA cases and internal hearings
- Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with labour legislation
- Support line managers with performance management and conflict resolution
- Maintain accurate HR records and compile reports for management
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes
- Assist in training and development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labour regulations
- National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Labour Law, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar IR/HR Officer role
- Thorough knowledge of South African labour legislation and disciplinary procedures
- Experience handling CCMA processes and internal hearings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
