A well-established manufacturing company based in Spartan, Johannesburg is seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Fitter to join their team. This role is ideal for a qualified artisan with in-depth hydraulic knowledge and hands-on experience in building and maintaining hydraulic systems within an industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on hydraulic systems and related machinery
• Diagnose and resolve faults in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components
• Build and assemble hydraulic power packs from hydraulic schematics
• Install, commission, and maintain pumps, accumulators, and various hydraulic components
• Replace faulty parts to ensure maximum operational efficiency and minimal downtime
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Source and order required parts and materials for repairs and maintenance

Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Relevant trade certification 
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Hydraulics (in-depth knowledge required)
• Proven ability to build hydraulic power packs from hydraulic schematics (essential)
• Strong knowledge of pumps, power packs, accumulators, and other hydraulic components
• Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
