Job Title: Key Accounts Manager - Packaging
Location: Johannesburg, South Africa
Reports to: Sales Director
Job Summary:
RPO Recruitment's client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Accounts Manager to join their team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts within the packaging industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and account management, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building long-lasting relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and revenue growth
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, serving as the main point of contact for all account-related matters
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products and services to existing clients
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure the successful delivery of products and services to clients
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and provide insights and recommendations to clients to help them make informed decisions
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, and report on progress towards targets to the Sales Director
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and account management, preferably in the packaging industry
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
