Job Description

A well-established manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Service Technician with a strong background in maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs of electrical systems to join their team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will work alongside engineers and technicians to ensure optimal system performance and client satisfaction across industrial and commercial projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and servicing on electrical systems and equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently and safely
• Assist with installation and maintenance of electrical systems for HVAC and engineering projects
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure proper system integration
• Liaise directly with clients regarding service issues and resolutions
• Complete accurate job cards, service reports, and maintenance logs
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
• Adhere to company safety procedures and quality standards at all times

Requirements:

• Qualified or trade-tested Electrician (Red Seal advantageous)
• Proven experience in a similar servicing or maintenance role
• Background in HVAC, ventilation, or industrial fan systems advantageous
• Mechanical experience advantageous
• Valid driver’s license essential
• Refrigeration experience beneficial
