Job Title: Accountant

Location: Kroonstad, Free State

A leading company is looking for an Accountant with strong experience in financial reporting and analysis to join their team in Kroonstad, Free State. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated accounting professional to drive financial accuracy and compliance by managing financial records, preparing statements, and ensuring adherence to accounting principles. If you have an Accounting Degree and have completed your articles, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular financial audits and prepare reports.
• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
• Process payroll, invoices, and expense reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data.
• Provide financial advice and support to management.

Requirements:

• Accounting Degree and completed articles.
• Proven experience as an Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Pastel, SAP, Xero).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
