A dynamic chemicals and coatings company is seeking a Junior Laboratory Technician to support quality control, research, and product development in a fast-paced laboratory environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated to contribute to laboratory operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests and analyses on paint and coating samples

  • Assist in quality control processes to ensure products meet defined standards

  • Prepare, label, and maintain chemical samples and reagents

  • Record and document test results accurately and maintain laboratory logs

  • Support senior laboratory staff with experimental setups and research projects

  • Maintain and operate laboratory equipment safely and efficiently

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency

  • Follow health, safety, and environmental protocols in all laboratory activities

Requirements:

  • BSc degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Life Sciences, Microbiology)

  • Previous laboratory experience or internship preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team

  • Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and procedures
