RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established and reputable Professional Quantity Surveying firm based in Johannesburg, is urgently seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Candidate Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Quantity Surveying
  • Must be formally registered as a Candidate Quantity Surveyor with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP).
  • Between 1 to 3 years of relevant post-graduate experience within a consulting Quantity Surveying or construction environment.
  • Experience in assisting with or independently compiling Bills of Quantities (BoQs) in accordance with standard measurement practices.
  • Competence in the preparation of Payment Certificates and understanding of the payment certification process.
  • Familiarity with contract administration and basic cost reporting will be advantageous.
  • Proficient in the use of WinQS and DimX – this is non-negotiable and considered essential to the Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable personal transport, as travel to site meetings and client offices may be required.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a professional team environment.
