A well-established automotive manufacturing company based in Pretoria is seeking a highly motivated Production Supervisor with strong experience in managing day-to-day production activities in a fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, results-driven individual to lead a production team, uphold product quality standards, and ensure efficient workflow. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and supervise shopfloor staff to meet output targets.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust workflow as needed to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure adherence to quality control standards and safety regulations.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff for performance and development.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment is operating optimally.
• Maintain production documentation and generate shift performance reports.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Requirements

• Matric certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• Diploma or relevant qualification in Production/Operations Management or Engineering.
• Proven experience (3–5 years) in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production workflows, quality standards, and health & safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Computer literate, with experience in production reporting tools or ERP systems.
