A well-regarded construction group based in Johannesburg is looking for an ambitious and capable Project Manager / Contracts Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a construction professional in the early-to-mid stage of their career who is ready to step up, take ownership, and make a real impact across a diverse portfolio of projects.

Requirements: 

• A relevant degree or diploma in construction management, quantity surveying, civil or building science — or equivalent practical experience
• Approximately 5 to 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with demonstrable project and team management exposure
• Proven experience managing professional consultant teams as well as construction and site teams
• Working knowledge of the JBCC contract suite and subcontractor appointment contracts — and the ability to administer them confidently
• Manage the full lifecycle of construction projects from inception through to close-out
• Lead and coordinate professional consultant teams including architects, engineers, and quantity surveyors
• Oversee and direct construction teams and subcontractors on site to ensure programme and quality targets are met
