RPO Recruitment’s client in the Mining Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Metallurgy Manager in Mooinooi, North West.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safe and environmentally friendly operation of the Metallurgical processes
• Manage the Metallurgical process
• Manage the Logistics process
• Ensure the Quality standards are maintained
• Liaise with Mining and Engineering to ensure effective and efficient process flow.
• Manage Continuous Improvement through Operational Excellence
• Develop growth opportunities in co-operation with Mineral Resources and Mining.
• Manage SHEQ compliance within the Department through effective use of the Toolbox
• Utilize the Information Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status.
• Manage performance against targets (IDP’s), ensure IDP’s are linked to performance results and implemented as per plan and conduct career discussions with identified talent

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• BSc / BTech Degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
• 8 years’ Production experience
• 5 years’ Managerial experience
• 3 years Mineral processing experience
