This role is pivotal in driving HR transformation, ensuring alignment with evolving company strategies. The HR Operations Manager will oversee the implementation of HR policies, performance management, operations, and employee engagement while optimizing HR systems and fostering a high-performance culture.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the roll-out and enforcement of HR standards, policies, and practices.
- Develop and implement performance frameworks, coaching managers on effective team management.
- Optimize HR systems, ensure compliance with labour laws, streamline workflows, and oversee workforce planning.
- Champion initiatives to improve employee morale, resolve disputes, and promote inclusivity.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior management and lead HR transformation initiatives.
- Oversee payroll processing, salary administration, and benefits programs.
- Manage talent acquisition strategies, oversee training programs, and implement succession planning.
- Drive transformation strategies, oversee compliance and reporting, and manage BBBEE audits.
- Provide guidance on health and safety policies and manage incapacity processes.
- Implement and maintain compensation structures and salary benchmarking.
- Represent the company in board committees and certification processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in senior HR management.
- Strong generalist HR and specialist industrial relations experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR policies, performance management, and employment laws.
- Strategic planning and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HR systems and workforce planning.
- High emotional intelligence and strong problem-solving skills.
