A dynamic retail company is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer/ Art Direction to join their fast-paced creative team in Cape Town, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong fashion retail design portfolio, hands-on art direction experience, and the ability to collaborate across multiple brands in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop creative graphic design solutions with a strong fashion handwriting.

• Support art direction by creating mood boards, concepts, and participating in photoshoots with live models.

• Collaborate with stylists, agencies, and marketing teams to ensure brand alignment.

• Participate actively in photoshoots, including sourcing locations, props, styling, and execution.

• Contribute ideas and solutions in brainstorming sessions while also delivering independently.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or Marketing-related field.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Graphic Design and 8 months – 2 years’ exposure in Art Direction.

• Strong portfolio showcasing fashion retail/fashion detail design work.

• Exposure to art direction processes, including brand understanding and campaign development.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-brand, high-volume retail environment.

• Solution-driven, proactive, and able to balance teamwork with independent initiative.
