RPO Recruitment's client is looking for a Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Manager to join their team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The role involves overseeing M&E activities, ensuring accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the M&E plan and track program indicators.
  • Oversee data quality, conduct site visits, and compile reports.
  • Provide training and capacity-building for the M&E team.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and ensure policy compliance.
  • Contribute to research, evaluations, and program improvements.
  • Design and refine data collection tools and reporting systems.
  • Conduct performance assessments and data quality audits.
  • Support budgeting and resource planning for M&E activities.
  • Represent the organization at meetings with partners and government agencies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in M&E.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills.
  • Experience in training and capacity-building.
  • Proficiency in English (Portuguese is an advantage).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure.
