RPO Recruitment's client is looking for a Enterprise Risk Specialist to join their team in Hammarsdale, KwaZulu-Natal. The role is responsible for designing processes, policies, and procedures to identify and manage risks that could impact the achievement of business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Assist leadership in developing and communicating risk management policies, strategies, and risk appetite.

• Establish and maintain enterprise risk management (ERM) methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Conduct risk assessments and monitor priority risks across the organization.

• Maintain and update the Group’s strategic risk register, ensuring effective reporting.

• Oversee risk mitigation activities and evaluate the effectiveness of controls.

• Manage insurance declarations, claims, and notifications to ensure timely processing.

• Prepare and monitor the risk management budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

• Lead and develop the risk management team, driving performance and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum B-degree (Commerce, Science, or Engineering) with at least 4 years of experience in Audit or Risk Management.

• Strong understanding of business processes, risks, and controls with expertise in ERM.

• Ability to analyze data, interpret financial information, and manage risk-related reporting.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

• Experience in the Poultry Production and Distribution industry is advantageous, with willingness to travel.
