A leading business software company is looking for an experienced ERP Consultant with a strong financial focus and expertise in FMCG sales and distribution. The role forms part of a highly skilled support and service delivery team, providing configuration, documentation, client liaison, and incident management for businesses across South Africa and the African continent.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between clients and internal specialists, ensuring efficient resolution of software issues.

• Troubleshoot retail and distribution software professionally, maintaining service quality levels.

• Review outstanding matters and ensure proper hand-offs in line with SLAs.

• Complete projects within agreed timelines.

• Travel nationally and internationally as required.

• Work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.

• Provide training and guidance to clients on ERP system usage and best practices.

• Assist in system configuration and implementation for new clients.

• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of processes, issues, and resolutions.

• Support month-end and year-end financial processes within client systems.

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma with an accounting focus.

• 10 years’ experience as a Client Support Consultant in FMCG sales and distribution.

• Knowledge of Retail and Distribution software, General Ledger, financial statements, and reports.

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) in FMCG.

• Understanding of retail/distribution business processes and financial cycles.

• Excellent English verbal and written communication.

• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work non-standard office hours.
