RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a skilled Airfreight Export Controller to join our client’s dynamic logistics team in Kempton Park. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and experienced professional to coordinate and manage airfreight export operations within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Coordinate the full airfreight export process from booking to final delivery
• Prepare and process export documentation, including airway bills and commercial invoices
• Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, and customs to ensure smooth cargo movement
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely departure and arrival
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company procedures
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and resolve any shipment issues
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and shipment data
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient service delivery

Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years' experience in airfreight exports within the freight forwarding/logistics industry
• Solid knowledge of international airfreight procedures and documentation
• Familiarity with Incoterms, customs regulations, and cargo tracking systems
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and relevant freight software
