Our client, a well-established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, is seeking an experienced Project Planner to join their project controls team in Johannesburg.

Requirements: 

• Tertiary qualification in engineering or a relevant discipline
• Sound technical knowledge in a multi-discipline project environment
• Proficiency in Primavera Project Planner P6
• Strong understanding of project management principles and risk management
• Knowledge of forms of contract (e.g. NEC, FIDIC)
• Knowledge of estimating and tendering processes
• Technical overview of work methods and construction techniques
• A strong personal commitment to safety and behavioural-based safety principles
• Valid driver's license
• Own reliable transport
