An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Warehouse Manager within a food company based in Gauteng.

Responsibilities:

  • Full leadership, management, and cost control of 3 shifts to deliver the business results.
  • Full stock control always ensuring stock integrity.
  • Correct operation ensuring maintenance are done and cover working of all MHE.
  • Correct loading and off-loading, of all vehicles.
  • Correct operation and Maintenance of Docks, and Freezer equipment.
  • Adherence Safety standards and operating procedures.
  • Managing of all staff (leave, absenteeism etc.) and allocating of staff to complete workload.
  • Communication with internal and external clients.
  • Control of pallet movement.
  • Control of bulk crate movement.
  • Storage efficiencies.
  • Transfer efficiencies.
  • Stock movement recorded accurately.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 as minimum requirement, with maths and science as subjects passed.
  • Relevant qualification at NQF 6 Level (Warehouse Management, Supply Chain Management).
  • At least 5 years’ Cold Store Warehouse experience and distribution experience at managerial level.
  • Cold chain management experience in the FMCG sector is an added advantage.
  • Required to work shifts and weekends when needed.
  • Computer Literacy MS (Word / Excel/PowerPoint)
