An industry-leading client of ours is currently looking for a professional Technical Sales Manger within the Poultry Sector

Report directly to General Manager: Specialty Foods and work closely with the MD and CEO.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
  • B.Sc. Agriculture Animal Science or Food Technology or Food Science Degree required.
  • MBA advantageous
Knowledge and Experience required:
  • Commercial and Sales experience.
  • Great planning, organizing, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Business development experience.
  • Technical ingredients food application experience.
  • Budgeting and costing experience
  • Poultry Ingredients experience is essential.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for overseeing and managing the implementation, execution, and maintenance of projects to drive the volume and sales within the Poultry customer portfolio.
  • Maintain and grow business with existing customers and drive growth through new business development.
  • Work with the support function managers and their teams for the development and growth of sustainable profitable business within the Poultry sector.
  • Build and maintain professional and effective relationships with Key Account customers in RSA across the Poultry Sector.
  • Ability to pull company resources in order to achieve targets.
  • Have a hands-on approach to product testing and conducting customer trials.
  • Managing a diverse group of people from technical and commercial backgrounds.
  • Travel extensively to liaise with ingredient partners and clients to maintain good relationships
Requirements:
  • Min 5 - 7 year’s relevant experience within the Poultry Industry
