Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel pumproom equipment to ensure optimal operation
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and fuel system issues
Identify faulty components and replace them with appropriate parts
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
Liaise with suppliers for parts and materials as required
Adhere to workplace safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical certification or diploma in Diesel Mechanics or Mechanical Engineering
Proven experience as a Diesel Technician, preferably in a pumproom or similar industrial setting
Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and fuel system components
Proficient in diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Attention to detail and commitment to safety practices
