A well-established manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician with extensive experience in Form Fill and Seal (FFS) machinery, automated packing lines, and PLC systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge of packaging equipment, as well as exposure to date coding and on-line printing equipment. Experience with a packaging machinery manufacturer will be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair Form Fill and Seal (FFS) machinery

• Troubleshoot and optimise automated packing lines

• Diagnose and resolve PLC and control system faults

• Perform mechanical and electrical fault-finding on packing lines

• Conduct preventative and breakdown maintenance

• Support installation and commissioning of packaging equipment

• Maintain and set up date coding and on-line printing equipment

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience with FFS machinery

• Proven experience on automated packing lines

• Strong mechanical understanding of packaging equipment

• PLC knowledge (formal PLC qualification advantageous)

• Experience with date coding and on-line printing systems

• Experience working for a packaging machinery builder advantageous

• Relevant trade test or technical qualification preferred
