Job Description

A dynamic manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Shift Setter with a strong technical background to join their production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup and mechanical maintenance of machinery within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform machine setting and technical adjustments to ensure optimal production output.

  • Conduct mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance as required.

  • Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards.

  • Work according to a shift schedule to ensure continuous operation.

  • Collaborate with the production team to meet daily targets in an FMCG setting.

  • Identify and resolve mechanical bottlenecks to minimize machinery downtime.

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on blow moulding equipment.

  • Ensure all safety protocols and manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) are strictly followed during shifts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum N3 mechanical or electrical subjects completed.

  • N4 or higher qualification is preferred.

  • Mechanical or electrical aptitude.

  • At least 3 years' experience in a FMCG production environment.

  • Previous exposure to blow moulding is advantageous.

  • Essential experience in setting and/or mechanical roles.

  • Ability to work various shifts as required by the production schedule.

  • Must have own reliable transport.
