Responsibilities
RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a dedicated Complex Supervisor (Building Manager) to oversee and manage the daily operations of a residential or commercial property in Cape Town. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to ensure the smooth functioning and maintenance of the building while providing exceptional service to tenants and stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Manage maintenance staff (training, supervision, performance evaluation)
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance work (urgent and non-urgent tasks)
- Conduct regular property inspections (maintenance needs, health and safety compliance)
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules (minimize resident disruptions)
- Ensure regulatory compliance (regulations, processes, procedures)
- Manage security staff (training, supervision, performance evaluation)
- Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, etc.)
- Ability to write comprehensive reports (maintenance, security, and operational issues)
- Any adhoc duties as requested by Manage
- Grade 12 or equivalent (essential)
- Degree or diploma in a related field (advantageous)
- Valid driver's license (essential)
- 3+ years of experience in building management or related field
- Proven team player skills
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance, repairs, and health and safety standards
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, email, etc.)
- Report writing skills
