A leading company in the food manufacturing industry is actively seeking a Stores Supervisor to join their team in Germiston, GP. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to take responsibility for overseeing stock control, procurement, and supplier relationships within a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate stock levels and oversee procurement activities
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Continuously improve the buying process, ensuring cost-effective purchasing
- Oversee stock control, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of materials
- Maintain a neat, tidy, and efficient working environment
- Handle administrative tasks related to inventory and procurement
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Willingness to work weekends when necessary
Requirements:
- Strong communication and administration skills
- Proven experience in stock control and procurement
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Computer literate with proficiency in inventory management systems
- Ability to work independently and show initiative
- Own means of transport
- Fast learner with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
