A dynamic retail and merchandising company is looking for an experienced In-House Account Specialist with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills to join their team in Sandton, Gauteng. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can serve as the key link between stores, merchandisers, and sales management to support product performance and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts by reviewing sales data, stock levels, and store reports to determine replenishment needs and issue purchase orders.

• Support operational processes by setting up and maintaining import tracking sheets, monitoring deliveries, and ensuring timely stock availability.

• Compile and present daily/weekly sales and replenishment reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.

• Conduct periodic store visits to review merchandising execution, audit compliance, and strengthen retailer relationships.

• Liaise with store staff, merchandisers, and management to resolve supply chain or compliance issues and ensure store standards are met.

Requirements:

• Postgraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field, or at least 2 years’ experience in sales/account management.

• Retail or FMCG experience is advantageous.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in MS Excel and reporting systems.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for store visits.
