RPO's client is actively seeking a skilled Factory Coordinator to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organized and proactive professional to manage stock coordination, procurement, and demand planning for factory operations. Responsibilities:
- Manage national Factory Mart stock levels, ensuring supply meets demand while optimizing inventory.
- Capture orders in Syspro, track out-of-stock items, and follow up on deliveries with Supply Chain.
- Generate Requests-To-Purchase (RTP), obtain quotes for equipment/sundries, and process Goods Returned To Suppliers (GRTS).
- Act as a liaison between Factory Marts, branches, procurement, and other departments to resolve stock issues.
- Conduct inventory analysis using Qlikview, arrange transport for urgent stock needs, and ensure promotional stock is allocated on time.
- Prepare customer quotes, update pricing as required, and provide weekly updates to regional managers on stock status.
- Maintain strong supplier and internal stakeholder relationships while ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Requirements:
- Matric or Grade 12; tertiary qualification in business/logistics (advantageous).
- Minimum 2 years in procurement, stock management, or demand planning.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and Syspro; experience with Qlikview is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
