Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable consultancy based in Somerset West, for a skilled and motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor / Administrator to join their team in a structured, hybrid working environment.

Requirements:

  • BSc / BTech Degree in Quantity Surveying
  • Professional registration (SACQSP) or working towards it is advantageous

  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software including WinQS, CostX, and DimX
  • Strong on Office Administration to support project pre-contract delivery, site cost control and internal operations
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender documentation, and bills of quantities
  • Manage valuations, cost control, and financial reporting during all project phases
  • Provide high-level support to director on project management and principle agent duties

  • Approximately 10+ years’ experience in a PQS / consulting environment

  •  

    Strong exposure to cost planning, BOQs, and tendering

  •  

    Experience in administrative or coordination roles within a QS or professional services environment
