RPO Recruitment's client is looking for a Fitter to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and preferably some electrical knowledge to support maintenance and repair tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment

• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure machinery is operating efficiently

• Diagnose mechanical problems and carry out repairs

• Read technical diagrams and interpret specifications

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

• Collaborate with other team members to improve machinery performance

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs

Requirements:

• Trade qualification as a Fitter

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Electrical experience is advantageous

• Ability to work independently and within a team
