RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established building contractor in the Western Cape, is currently searching for a committed and hardworking Site Manager who can join their team in Cape Town as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Control of materials on site
- Coordinate time keeping of labour force
- Liaison with client’s agent
- Quality assurance
- Attending site meetings
Requirements:
- National Diploma in Building or similar qualification in the built environment
- Practical training of the fundamentals in relevant building trades
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience working as a Site Manager on large industrial and commercial structures
- Ability to read and understand drawings essential
- Competent in planning and managing all site construction activities
- Ability to manage the work programs and finding solutions to problems encountered
- Skills to enable successful procurement and planning to ensure that site activities are on schedule
- Ability to monitor project performance and ensuring that site activities are on schedule and that projects are delivered to the client on time and to their satisfaction
