A dynamic tech company is seeking an experienced Cloud Data Platform Support Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of its Azure-based data infrastructure. The role focuses on technical support, incident response, monitoring, and automation to maintain stable and efficient data operations across cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for cloud data platforms and resolve production incidents.

  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure data reliability.

  • Automate operational tasks using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system resilience and efficiency.

  • Document solutions, maintain runbooks, and participate in incident reviews.

  • Develop dashboards and alerts for proactive system monitoring.

  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance performance and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 3+ years’ experience in cloud support, operations, or data engineering (Azure preferred).

  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, Spark, and cloud monitoring tools.

  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Databricks, or Azure Synapse advantageous.

  • Azure certification and familiarity with CI/CD and multi-cloud platforms beneficial.
