A resource rich mine based in the Northern Cape has an exciting opportunity for an Superintendent Engineering (Electrical). The successful candidate will ensure equipment availability and reliability through application of maintenance management systems and resources to achieve and support production targets.
Responsibilities:
- Computer literacy
- Basic user of MS Office, JD Edwards, SCADA; Intermediate user of MineSuite
- Functional Processing, maintenance and engineering equipment knowledge and skills
- Process, equipment knowledge and maintenance theory related to crushing, screening, conveying, stacking and reclaiming, gravity separation (jigging) , de-slimes and de-grid cyclones, water recovery (thickeners), tailing disposal, sampling, dust suppression and extraction and power reticulation
- Process flow of the production processes of crushing; conveyor & ROM stacking, on-grade wash and screening, off-grade wash and screening, beneficiation, high pressure roller crusher, product conveying & stacking, process water & slimes handling, product reclaiming and loading
- Automated process control philosophy, asset management and strategy, EAMS business processes, condition monitoring, relevant original equipment manufacturer training, process control and optimization
Requirements:
- Engineering Technical Trade Test
- N4 Electrical Engineering certificate
- Planned Maintenance Management certificate ( NQF level 5)
- Supervisory Certificate
- MDP/ Management / Leadership Equivalent certificate (NQF level 6)
