Our client is in need of an experienced Estimator – Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) to join a dynamic team in Midrand. This is a permanent opportunity for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering accurate, high-quality tenders and cost estimates.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ technical experience in E&I projects with proven tender development ability.
- Diploma or degree in Engineering or Management.
- Strong construction and engineering contractual knowledge.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CCS (Candy).

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate E&I estimates and study tender documents, specifications, and drawings.
- Verify material take-offs, bills of quantities, and specifications.
- Conduct commercial adjudication of materials, equipment, and subcontract quotations.
- Develop complete cost estimates in line with company procedures.
- Participate in introducing new estimating techniques and conduct site visits when required.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement and quality assurance standards.
